The proposal is to fund a company to develop and design an IT careers learning guidance solution which would address the current gap in the provision of appropriate career guidance for the young people residing at the Oberstown Children Detention Campus (Oberstown). The IT platform should be designed by career professionals, with interactive tools to help the young people understand their own interests, aptitudes, personality and skills and to give them the knowledge to use the results of these assessments to inform their career decisions.
