Crown Estate Scotland wishes to appoint a political monitoring service which allows Crown Estate Scotland to have first rate knowledge and understanding of the political landscape relevant to the policy areas applicable to us. This will help Crown Estate Scotland to effectively plan and implement our political engagement activities. Crown Estate Scotland manages land and property in Scotland which makes up the Scottish Crown Estate. As the majority of the policy areas we work in are devolved, we need a service provider which has a very strong presence in Scotland, and which has a first rate understanding of the Scottish political scene as well as being able to monitor Westminster activity. The Corporate Affairs Team has a wide remit which includes responsibility for monitoring the work of the Scottish Parliament and the Westminster Parliament, Scottish Government & Whitehall where these might impact on the plans, policies and priorities of Crown Estate Scotland. This involves collating relevant information on legislative programmes and policy development and disseminating this information to staff. In order to provide this service to staff, Crown Estate Scotland requires an external organisation to provide them with a range of information and analysis that can then be disseminated appropriately.
