Tender description
The City in their capacity as police authority (for the City) is carrying out pre-procurement market engagement (‘PPME’) to gain a better understanding of the markets availability regarding eDiscovery solutions and associated feasibility. The City of London Police (CoLP) will consider the feedback received to help inform its options and further decision making. For the avoidance of doubt, this phase of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the City is not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process. Please refer to II.2.4) Description of the procurement below for further information and details on how to obtain the relevant documentation. Primarily, the CoLP are investigating the feasibility of an eDiscovery solution, both in the cloud and on-premise options. The CoLP will consider the feedback received to help inform its options and further decision making. For the avoidance of doubt, this phase of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the City is not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process. The CoLP would like to find out about the solutions that the market currently or potentially offer, along with the types of innovation or areas of best practice that are being developed and could meet CoLP’s current requirements and/or make improvements to current ways of working and business processes. If your organisation would like to participate in this pre-market engagement exercise, it can do so by via the City's eProcurement portal at: www.capitalesourcing.com and download the soft market test documentation which includes a questionnaire. Participants are then required to complete and submit their response to the soft market test (SMT) Questionnaire by the return deadline. Participants should register as a supplier on the portal using the aforementioned link (if not already), then search for the opportunity titled using the reference number cited at II.1.1) Title field of this notice. Please ensure the SMT questionnaire is uploaded to the capital eSourcing portal www.capitalesourcing.com by 12.00 noon on Monday 21 September 2020.
