SOFT MARKET TESTING FOR THE SUPPLY OF B LOVE 2021

Tender description

This information is requested as part of an exercise to seek the market's views regarding B LOVE. Background information B LOVE is one weekend of live music, arts and family fun, showcasing Basingstoke's local music scene, with the majority of performers being from or connected to the area and a main stage of well-known household name acts designed to encourage stronger attendance and offer a support platform for local artists to be seen. The event is suitable for all ages and caters for a diverse range of styles and genres of music. The event is organised and funded by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, working with a forum of local promoters, the B LOVE music forum led by an independent chair. Each organisation or promoter has programming responsibility for their stages. The council are keen to explore other ways to deliver the event from 2021 with the aim of reducing the council's involvement and funding in the event and continuing to improve the offer. We are therefore conducting this soft market testing exercise to determine the market's potential interest and to utilise the market's expertise and experience to aid with considerations for future delivery of the event.
