Sale of Textiles arising at local Authority Collection Points

Tender description

The Authority is issuing this ITT to identify and appoint a suitable Buyer for the Sale of Goods arising at the Authority’s Collection Points. The Authority is seeking to appoint a single Buyer for each lot to: (i) Provide site Collection Pods for the Collection of Goods from the Collection Point(s). Tenderers will be required to state types of Collection Pods they are proposing based on the tonnage arising at the Collection Points, with empty Collection Pods. To maintain capacity of the sites, the Buyer shall be contacted to collect the textiles as and when the pods are nearing full. Any queries can be made through clarifications until the deadline for questions. (ii) Collect the filled Collection Pods (and replace with an empty pod) (iii) Deliver the Goods collected in the Collection Pods to one or more Treatment Sites to be provided by the Buyer. (iv) Provide one or more Delivery Points where the Authority and those authorised by the Authority can deliver Goods should the Authorities wish to exercise this option.
