Hiring Activity: Corporate Business Intelligence Lead

The City of London Corporation is a uniquely diverse organisation with a wide remit that spans the private, public and voluntary sectors, and local, national and international roles. With a reputation for excellence, we’re now looking to appoint a Corporate Business Intelligence Lead to build business intelligence and analytics capacity across the organisation and deliver a new corporate performance framework to support achievement of the City Corporation’s Corporate Plan (2018-23). Reporting to the Head of Corporate Strategy & Performance, you will provide advice to Chief Officers, their senior teams and wider stakeholders on sourcing appropriate data sets. You will successfully deliver BI projects, such as integrating data sets with the Azure platform and PowerBi dashboards for the full range of City Corporation institutions and departments, functions and key challenges, such as Brexit. You will be exposed to a high pressured, senior level, political, public service and commercial environment and have experience in developing and driving a programme of business intelligence projects with stakeholders ranging from ‘blue light’ to cultural services. You will have experience of leading in a complex organisation, providing strategic advice and flexing to meet organisational priorities. In addition, you will have a high level of political astuteness, strong communications skills and awareness together with a thorough knowledge of public and local authority issues.
