Tender description

This contract is for the provision of an onsite occupational health service which was awarded to Healthworks following an EU Compliant tendering exercise. The service provision is based out of the on-site clinic at the constabulary headquarters, and they have their own online portal which supports this service. The contract with HealthWorks was awarded for 3 years until the 30 November 2018, with an option to extend the contract for one further period of 12 months. This contract was then extended via a VEAT notice for a further 12-month period until November 2020. The negotiated procedure without prior publication may be used for new works and services consisting of the repetition of similar works or services entrusted to the economic operator to which the same contracting authority awarded an original contract, provided that such works or services are in conformity with a basic project for which the original contract was awarded so it is the PCC's intention to award.
