Tender description

The Council has set out ambitious aspirations through its Economic Growth, Commercial and Asset Management Strategies. Consequently, there is a programme of time-critical projects which the Council is driving forward, necessary to achieve key objectives and as set out in these strategies. To ensure effective delivery the Council recognises the need to supplement in-house resources with specialist support, enabling these to be taken forward at pace with expertise to help ensure that projects are viable, appraised, relevant negotiations take place and the necessary property transactions, including acquisitions, are achieved within prescribed timescales and outputs. The tender contract is initially to 31 March 2021 up to 3 days/week (78 total indicative days), commencing on 14 September 2020. An option to extend for up to a further 30 days is subject to review during the commission.
