Feasibility and design of ground source or water source heat pump systems

Feasibility and design work, including estimated costings and financial projections, for ground or water source heat pump systems for buildings owned by Scottish Canals, and overview of the potential for ground or water source heating systems across the Scottish Canals estate. ALIenergy is working with Scottish Canals to investigate the potential for ground or water source heating systems across part of their estate. We seek feasibility and design work, including estimated costings and financial projections, for ground or water source heat pump systems for use in buildings owned by Scottish Canals, many of which are situated adjacent to canal waterways. The study will also include a detailed overview of the potential for ground or water source heating systems across all Scottish Canals buildings within the defined Atlantic Area of Scotland (https://www.atlanticarea.eu/page/2), with a view to potentially extending or replicating the results to Scottish Canals buildings across the rest of Scotland at a later date. Scottish Canals has more than 100 properties in the study area including toilet and shower facility buildings for canal customers, offices, retail units, cafes, community facilities, visitor centres, residential buildings and workshops. This project is co-financed by the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme through the European Regional Development Fund.
