Electrical Consultant to Assist with the replacement of 2 Lifts at Tallaght Training Centre

Tender description

• Undertake the works as outlined above and as per the recommendations in the attached condition report • Assist DDLETB with the application to SOLAS for funding to complete the works. • Act as Health and Safety Consultant PSDP in accordance with Health and Safety Act & Regulations • Act as Employer’s Representative for Contract Administration and Cost Control Purposes. • Prepare at least 2 Design Proposals/Options for discussion with the Client. • Prepare a Stage 2B Cost Plan and Programme. • Conduct the Tender Process in compliance with TGD-007. Prepare a full set of Tender Documents and Drawings to allow for the Tendering of the Project on Etenders. Assessment of Tenders and issue a Tender Report, making a Recommend to Appointment a Contractor. Cconducting the project under the GCCC Form of Contract – Small Works Contract • Contract Administration and Inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Attend, chair and record all Site Meetings etc. - Allow for 2 No. client meeting pre-tender and liaising with all stakeholders. - Allow for bi- weekly site meeting during project. Supervise the works as per normal Design Team Procedures including Certification of Payments and Substantial Completion. • Sign off of works including Opinion of Compliances and make sure the Safety File & O&M Manual are handed over. • Draw up a snag list and supervise completion of same. • Oversee Defects Period and agree the Final Account. • Liaise closely with Dublin and Dun Laoghaire during all stages.
