Autism Spectrum Disorder School based Package of Speech and Language Therapy Support

Tender description

This service specification details the requirements for the provision of packages of Speech and Language Therapy, for year 7 cohort of children planning to attend a newly open specialist ASD School in Croydon. Support will be required to be delivered as outlined in their EHCP, when appropriate children will also need to deliver review assessments for children so provision is appropriate in their new setting. The provider will also be required to contribute to EHCP annual reviews. The annual review will be led by the school, the therapist(s) should proactively contribute to this review. The main purpose of the review meeting is to actively monitor the child or young person’s progress towards their outcomes and longer term aspirations. The review must also consider whether these outcomes and supporting targets remain appropriate and must set new interim targets for the coming year and where appropriate, agree new outcomes, specifically related to Speech Language and Communication Needs.
