Who Speclialist Work With The Supplier will work closely with the L2 technical team in the rolling out of Windows 10 across the Trust. You will also be working with clinical staff and engaging with them on a daily basis. You will required to report back to the L2 manager on performance. What Specialists Work On - L2 Support o Assist in clearing the current backlog of requests such as deployment of devices, upgrading machines, fixing end user issues. o Provide incident management expertise o Prepare for introduction of new systems o Deployment of new devices o Windows 10 Rollout - Going around City & Sandwell sites to swap end user devices. - Possibility of installing RAM and swapping RAM units on devices. Where the Work Takes Place Sandwell General Hospital, West Brom, B71 4HJ. City Hospital, Dudley Rd, Birmingham B18 7QH Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements 5 days x 7.5 hours, shifts 6am-2pm, 2pm -10pm. Start date 01.09.2020 We are expecting to roll out 1100 machines by the end of September. Work Location Sandwell General Hospital, West Brom, B71 4HJ. City Hospital, Dudley Rd, Birmingham B18 7QH Security Clearance Will be advised on successful applicants. Additional T&Cs Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust reserve the right to cancel this tender at any point and not be liable to award this contract. The Trust will not bear any supplier costs associated with replying to this tender. Skills & Experience Proof Staff are ITIL trained = 4% - Yes/No Have experience of upgrading machines to W10 - 3% - Demonstrate proof with written response. Ability to install software and to showcase proof - 5% - Yes/No Have the ability to upgrade hardware in a desktop/Laptop - 5% - Yes/No Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a build factory - 3% - Have you worked in one? Yes/No. Have the ability to create powershell script to streamline processes - 2%) - Provide evidence of script. Have experience of working in a healthcare sector - 10% - Please provide an NHS Trust where you have worked in a technical role such as Line 2 Engineer. Every 6 months of L2 experience in NHS = 2% (Max 8%) - Provide proof of NHS organisations you've worked in.
