Tender description

The “Adapt” section of the report of the Expert Advisory Group to the Arts Council which was adopted in June 2020 sets out a recommendation that the Arts Council facilitate a sector-led initiative in the performing arts before the end of 2020. As outlined above, the Arts Council will fund a unique sector-led initiative to take place for one week in December 2020, with festival organisations at its core. The Arts Council is aware that arts organisations have conducted explorations of how to create and present work in new and flexible venues; and also that festivals and other organisations had some work at an advanced stage of preparation in advance of Covid 19 restrictions being introduced.
