Tender description

The consultant is being appointed to complete a Character and Design SPD. This document is to assess the Borough's character and make recommendations on how character can be best enhanced in the Borough. These recommendations will inform future growth strategies. The consultant will also build on the character recommendations by establishing design codes to inform development across the borough. This will ensure that the borough's housing and development targets can be met, whilst ensuring that development enhances overall character. Design codes will also form a vital part of any future local planning strategy.
