Prior information notice — market engagement events • Friday 11th September, • Thursday 17th September. This is not a call for competition. ‘Please note: by expressing an interest in this event via the portal you are not confirming your place at the event. Please follow the instructions below to reserve your place.’. Somerset County Council is at the beginning of a re-commissioning journey for prevention and supported accommodation for young people who are at risk of homelessness in Somerset and we need your help. We want to explore new ideas and innovative approaches to getting our vulnerable young people prepared for adulthood and becoming independent. Our vision is for our young people to have suitable homes they can afford, are in work and have support if they need it. Are you: • already providing support and advice to young people and their families? • a social landlord? • have access to property? If the answer is yes, then we would like you to be involved in shaping the future for our young people. The outcome of these events will inform the next steps of any potential procurement process. How to attend an event: Please contact JXLang@somerset.gov.uk for further details and to be sent a registration form (deadline for completed registration forms is 28 August 2020). If you are unable to attend, information from the events will be available through the e-tender system ProContract (www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk); also, if you are unable to attend but are interested in working with us then please let us know. SCC reserves the right to cancel or re-arrange these events at its own discretion. Organisations taking part will not be advantaged or disadvantaged in any potential formal procurement. Commercial confidentiality will be respected. This notice does not represent a formal commitment by SCC to undertake a procurement procedure.
