As a user of an SAP ERP system, we submit an audit each year to ascertain that we are not under-licensed. In 2020, the audit showed we had exceed our license numbers and subsequently we had the urgent need to correct this. The University of Sheffield has previously appointed an SAP Maintenance contract with Edenhouse Ltd, meaning that we could not in effect buy the licenses from elsewhere and ask Edenhouse to carry out the maintenance. Edenhouse were appointed to carry out the correction process for the University and include the new licenses in the existing maintenance contract.
