Tender description

Via East Midlands Ltd intends to contract with Vaisla TML Ltd provision of winter road bureau services for a 3-year period. The system manages information relating to the provision of our winter roads maintenance bureau services and is strategically aligned to the network communications of the Vaisla TML Ltd road sensors and components. The impact on the service delivery within Via East Midlands Ltd and cost implications of changing to a new provider’s solution would prohibit Via East Midlands Ltd ability to provide and achieve best value. The system updates, patching, support and maintenance can only be managed by Vaisla TML Ltd. Vaisala provide a communication and data monitoring solution for Via’s winter maintenance operation. The service provided I embedded within the organisation and staff are familiar with accessing all aspects of the system which facilitates the decision making process. In addition, over the last 3 years there has been significant investment in upgrading the existing infrastructure and the latest technology is available to enhance our operations.
