The OU is carrying out pre-market research for: — a front-end UX layer to allow students to interact with one platform instead of multiple and allow a personalised experience for the user; — a content store to allow our help and guidance to be stored in a single location to increase consistency and reduce duplication; — a marketing automation tool to help us improve our student interventions to analyse how we can be helping students and enquirers Suppliers that would like to respond to this request for information must do so on In-Tend (https://in-tendhost.co.uk/openuniversity), details in communication above. Apart from the response to the high level requirements, we are looking to increase our understanding in regards to the user experience platform in the areas detailed below. — customisation and personalisation of the platform; — content store of various media types; — student intervention tool; — marketing automation tool; — communication functionality. Suppliers should complete and return a request for information response document by no later that noon on 25 September 2020. Submissions must be made via the In-Tend correspondence function. The OU is offering a limited number of supplier engagement sessions to suppliers on a first come, first served basis. The purpose of these sessions is to provide further context to our requirement and for suppliers to share their main solution ideas with us and ask questions (if any) prior to submitting their formal RFI response. The engagement sessions are being held on the 10 September 2020 and 11 September 2020. Suppliers should request a slot for the briefing session by completing the briefing session response form and return it via the correspondence facility on InTend (https://in-tendhost.co.uk/openuniversity). The OU will confirm your session time and date to you with joining details for the engagement session.
