Social work services with accommodation

Tender description

The accommodation will provide temporary accommodation with support for applicants who have applied to Dumfries and Galloway Council as homless and to whom the Council have a duty to provide such accommodation under Section 29 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 as amended. The accommodation will be self-contained accommodation suitable for homeless couples and single homeless people. The accommodation will be provided with at least a 12 hour per day, 265/6 days a year concierge service, 24 hours CCTV surveillance and monitoring systems and housing support services as per the service specification attached. Housing support will be provided to each individual. Delivery of 13 units of temporary accommodation with support and 1 unit of emergency (out of hours) accommodation covering the West of Dumfries and Galloway. Expectation is that accommodation will be provided in Stranraer. The accommodation will be self-contained accommodation suitable for homeless couples and single homeless people. The accommodation will be provided with at least a 12 hour per day, 265/6 days a year concierge service, 24 hours CCTV surveillance and monitoring systems, and housing support services as per the service specification attached. Housing Support will be provided to each individual. Delivery of 20 units of accommodation with support and 1 unit of emergency (out of hours) accommodation covering the East of Dumfries and Galloway. Expectation is that accommodation with support will be provided within Dumfries, and Annan and the unit of emergency accommodation will be in Dumfries.
