Tender description

Roseberry Park Hospital is an NHS hospital in Middlesbrough specialising in the provision of mental health services, and children’s learning disabilities services. The hospital is made up of a number of self-contained ward units, clustered around closed landscaped courtyards, other non-clinical buildings, a ‘plaza’ and car parks. The Trust requires the provision of a comprehensive grounds and gardens maintenance service for this site in order to maintain an aesthetically pleasing landscape that is complementary to the Trust and the local environment throughout the year. The procurement process was a two-stage process to appoint a single provider, as follows: Stage 1: Pre-qualification — applicants wishing to participate in the competition completed and returned the selection questionnaire (SQ). The SQ was available from Alison.mee@mottmac.com and Jacqueline.a.penn@mottmac.com The Trust pre-qualified, and then selected applicants for the services, based on their responses to the SQ to proceed to stage 2. Stage 2: The ITT - The Trust issued an invitation to submit tenders to selected applicants. The Trust assessed bids and selected the most economically advantageous tender, based on evaluation criteria set out in the ITT.
