Aberdeen City Council is looking for notes of interest from organisations interested in operating or utilising a retired fleet of up to 10 fuel cell hydrogen buses. Aberdeen City Council is looking for notes of interest from organisations interested in fuel cell hydrogen buses. These buses have been successfully operated as part of a pioneering pilot project and the Council would like to review options to extend their operational life. The Council have up to 10 fuel cell hydrogen buses which are available at no cost. However, interested parties will be liable for any ongoing operational and maintenance costs, including fuel. The buses will be provided in a road worthy condition and physical inspections can be arranged, if required. The Council are open to considering different operating models including leasing options but will also consider other uses for example as a training facility and/or for educational activities. Organisations can note interest in one or more buses up to a maximum of 10.
