Tender description

The Ministry of Justice plans to tender to replace the current contracts with education institutions to provide academic learning for Instructional Officers within HMPPS (Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service) industrial workshops. The requirement is for procurement of a supplier (s) to deliver three Apprenticeships aimed at Band 4 Instructional Officers delivering training and education in prison workshops to prisoners. The 3 apprenticeships are: L5 Learning and Skills Teacher, L4 Assessor-Coach and L3 Learner Mentor. The apprenticeships are on the national standards framework. The Authority will conduct market engagement to inform service and contract design.
