Tender description

The Council is seeking the best value supplier to provide supply, installation and maintenance of permanent backup generators at the Council’s Penn Lloyd Building. Design, provide, install, commission and set to work a replacement 1 MVA standby generator. The tender shall include for final design, provision and installation of the entire system together with all costs for delivery to site, builders works/trenching, testing, commissioning, setting to work, proving to the C.A. and for the routine maintenance, testing and other service costs for 60 months from the date detailed on the C.A.'s ‘Certificate of Practical Completion’. The prices must be inclusive of servicing, testing and maintaining the generator installation. The contract is not exclusive and the Council reserves the right to procure the same or additional services from alternative suppliers for services both within and outside the scope of this agreement.
