Tender description

To support YWS Organisation Development Strategy, YWS have committed to ensure that we: — have enough staff to account for natural attrition and our current ageing workforce issues, — develop staff currently within the business to create an internal talent pool for internal recruitment, — develop successors for roles to ensure the business resilience should individuals leave post. We aim to utilise the available Apprenticeship Levy funds to deliver Levels 2-7 (GCSE – Degree) qualifications. The tender will be awarded to training providers that can deliver high quality apprenticeship programmes, in the areas of: health, safety and environment standard; water process technician standard; team leader/customer service specialist; software developer standard; Cyber security technologist; engineering technician; infrastructure technician; associate project manager and business analyst. A 3 + 2 framework agreement will be awarded to the successful bidders. The tender will identify training providers that are capable of delivering high quality apprenticeship programmes, in the areas of: — health, safety and environment standard - 3, — water process technician - 27, — team leader/customer service specialist (do not require any bespoke elements in the content) -5, — software developer standard - 1, — cyber security technologist - 2, — engineering technician - 2, — infrastructure technician - 1, — associate project manager - 1, — business analyst - 1. To bolster the quality for our apprenticeship provision, a blended approach to delivery must be in place and must include face to face visits rather than just remote i.e. only using Virtual Learning Environments/skype. Where possible YWS would seek the opportunity to make the programmes bespoke.
