Tender description

The Happy Older People (HOP) network is not an organisation in it's own right with a coordinator hosted by National Museums Liverpool. The post holder's responsibilities are dedicated to the HOP network and not other museum activity. The HOP would cease to exist without coordination. To fund the coordination of the network provides significant benefits to the older population of Liverpool, that can capitalise on other resources of National Museum's Liverpool as well as the contacts and resources that being the largest group of museums outside of London. By it's nature this is a specialist service, that could not be reproduced elsewhere successfully, or be successful if the post was hosted by a different organisation. This also supports a significant research project we have been sucessful in the bidding for.
