NEPO intends to put in place a 48 month framework agreement for the provision of a managed remarketing service for the disposal by auction of vehicles and plant. Contractors will be responsible for the collection, preparation for sale, storage, remarketing, sale of vehicles and plant and similar assets and the prompt return of sale proceeds after disposal. The sale process must be managed by the contractors to return optimum residual value. NEPO intends to make this framework agreement available for use by all contracting authorities throughout all administrative regions of the UK (as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015). The purpose of this PIN is to give advance notice of the procurement and to gauge market interest. Any supplier who wishes to express an interest should do so by emailing michelle.armstrong@nepo.org. NEPO is seeking to establish a framework agreement for the managed remarketing of Vehicles and Plant. The current NEPO Framework gives a compliant route to the market, providing a full collection, preparation and auctioning service for participating contracting authorities. The current framework operates as a ranked supplier solution via direct award but NEPO will seek to understand alternative approaches. The estimated value included in this notice is based on the volumes that have been handled through the current framework then extrapolated across a 48-month period. NEPO intends to make this framework agreement available for use by all contracting authorities throughout all administrative regions of the UK (as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015) including but not limited to government departments and their agencies, non-departmental public bodies, central government, NHS bodies, local authorities, emergency services, coastguard emergency services, educational establishments, registered social landlords and registered charities who have a need to purchase the above services.
