Western Road Rehabilitation Project

Tender description

The contract consists of approximately 6,000 m2 of road resurfacing comprising planing of existing surfaces to a depth of 100mm and laying of 50mm of polymer modified stone mastic asphalt over a 50mm layer of dense bituminous macadam binder course. Also required is an area of approximately 6,000 m2 of road resurfacing comprising planing of existing surface to a depth of 50mm and laying 50mm of polymer modified stone mastic asphalt The Contract includes improvement of road drainage where required, repositioning utility covers and replacement of all road markings and other ancillary works necessary for the completion of the contract. In addition to the above, some footpath reconstruction works are being carried out under the Contract.
