Tender description

YPO are looking for a sole supplier to be appointed onto a framework agreement for the supply of potable water, wastewater services and related ancillary services primarily for use in the local authority sector, education sector and emergency services sector. This framework is designed to meet the needs of both YPO and Other contracting authorities by establishing an agreement where the end customer will place the order with the supplier and the supplier will deliver direct to the end customer. Water supply and sewerage services The successful supplier shall provide water supply and sewerage retail services to any customers with eligible non-household supply points (as defined in accordance with the Water Act 2014) and able to access this framework. The supplier shall be required to deliver all aspects of water retail services associated with the supply of water and sewerage services as required by the customers, including but not limited to: • account management; • customer service; • billing; • credit control; • metering services, including but not limited to reading, replacement, resizing, accuracy testing, installation and removal; • data management and reporting, including web portals and associated services; • roads and property drainage; • sewerage services including trade effluent; • emergency contingency planning; • 24/7 emergency support; • guaranteed standards of service as defined by the framework and the codes. Water ancillary services The supplier shall provide one (1) or more of the ancillary goods and services listed in this lot description. The ancillary services are relevant to the management, conservation, and reduction of water consumption as requested by the customers in order to deliver efficiency, financial and consumption savings. The ancillary services may include the requirement for purchase and installation of water management, water efficiency, water conservation or other water savings measures. These measures may include provision and installation of goods including new equipment/optimisation of equipment (including existing equipment) and provision of related services. Additional services may be required to improve the environmental conditions at customer sites. These water ancillary goods and services are: • AMR installation and operation; • contingency planning; • leak detection and repair; • water audit site surveys; • water footprint assessment; • tariff optimisation and benchmarking; • cost recovery; • legionella risk assessments.
