Tender description

Somerset County Council is planning to engage a number of apprentices over the next 3 years in support of its Somerset Skills for Growth project. Somerset County Council is seeking to appoint a number of apprenticeship service providers for the supply and training of apprentices that consistently meet the standards required. In addition Somerset County Council will utilise apprenticeship training for residents of Somerset. The apprenticeships, to be provided via this procurement exercise, are funded via the Council’s Apprenticeship Levy, which has been used as match-funding in a wider bid to the European Social Fund (ESF) Programme, to deliver the Somerset Skills for Growth Project. Legal, finance and accounting apprenticeships within Somerset. Sales, marketing and procurement apprenticeships within Somerset. Business and administration apprenticeships within Somerset. Catering, hospitality and facilities management apprenticeships within Somerset. Childcare and education apprenticeships within Somerset. Construction, engineering, manufacturing, transport and logistics apprenticeships within Somerset. Digital creative and design apprenticeships within Somerset. Health, social care and science apprenticeships within Somerset.
