Tender description

The purpose of the Ground Investigation Survey is to determine the ground strata groundwater conditions for a proposed flood relief scheme in Mountmellick. The site investigation comprises cable percussion boreholes, cable percussion boreholes with rotary core follow-on, trial pits, dynamic sampling with probing follow on, slit trenching for service location and inspection pits for foundations of existing walls. Works to include in situ testing, installation of standpipes groundwater level monitoring, sample collection and associated laboratory testing, reporting and production of factual reports as described within the contract documents.
