Market Engagement Event. Worthing Borough Council (WBC) is exploring market interest from investor/developers to finance/design/build/operate/maintain a heat network to provide heat initially to the Worthing Civic Quarter Site properties and possibly extending to other public properties in Worthing to assist Worthing Borough Council to meet its declared aim to be carbon neutral by 2030. A market engagement event will be held on Thursday 10 September 2020 commencing at 9.00 to end at approximately 16.00. Due to the current Covid pandemic the meeting is planned to be hosted via Microsoft Teams. This event will be used as a means to engage with the market, discuss the procurement plan and envisaged timelines in advance of any formal procurement process. Interested providers are required to register their interest and confirm attendance by emailing procurement@adur-worthing.gov.uk by midday 3rd September providing the following information: 1) Organisation name; 2) Brief description of the services you provide; 3) Your web address; 4) Name and title of attendees. Logon details of the market engagement will be provided upon confirmation of attendance and provision of the above information. Note: It is envisaged that the procurement will be advertised in the third quarter of 2020.
