Provision of Mechanical Repairs, Maintenance and Capital Works 2020

Tender description

Blackpool Council is seeking to appoint Contractor(s) to undertake the reactive day to day Mechanical repairs, maintenance and potentially capital works. The requirements have been separated into 2 separate opportunities, both of the opportunities will have 2 lots. Mechanical Lots 1 Repairs and Maintenance £0.00 - £1500.00 Lot 2 Repairs, Maintenance and Capital works £1500.00 - £50,000.00 These requirements include: Providing a working environment for the building users and tenants that fulfills Blackpool Council's obligations as defined in the lease(s). Making adequate arrangements for the Health and Safety of persons in and around Authority buildings and fulfilling all safety requirements, particularly with regard to The Health & Safety at Work. Act, 1974. Blackpool Council wishes to appoint a Contractor/s who can clearly demonstrate the ability to meet our requirements and who offers the most economically advantageous tender. It is anticipated that the contract term will be from April 2020 to 31/03/2022, with the option to extend incrementally for a period of 2 years (subject to contract review and budget availability).
