Henry Green Primary School Staffroom Extension, internal alterations and external works The London Borough of Barking & Dagenham is undertaking a project at Henry Green Primary School to provide an enlarged and enhanced staff room. This consists of a single storey extension, to be built at the rear of the school. This will facilitate the conversion of the existing staff room and resources room to become school classrooms and two existing classrooms will become SEN classrooms, with an associated external sensory play area on a raised deck. There will be other associated alterations and refurbishment. The start date and the contract period are to be proposed by the tendering contractor with a view to a) minimising construction costs b) minimising disturbance to the school during the construction period. It is proposed that there will be a Phased completion, so that the classrooms and external play area can be brought in to use before the staff room extension is completed. Tender Live 31/07/2020
