Summary of the work Expert Advisor and Scrum Master required to work on the AIMS Upgrade project within the Environment Agency. This is a continuous improvement project, its goal to improve the core systems and tools used to manage, maintain and operate our assets by replacing a number of existing asset management IT systems. Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length 18 months Latest start date Monday 30 November 2020 Maximum Day Rate Maximum Day Rate =£450 Expenses and travel reimbursed at cost. Early Market Engagement The project has been underway since 2017. We are currently mid way through the configuration for flood risk management, which will run through to October 2020. Following will be the Environment & Business Configuration running through to September 2021. Who Speclialist Work With There is a full IT and Business Team in place for this work. This role will report to the Business team but will work closely with the enterprise and data architects as well as the existing business analyst. What Specialists Work On STARTING 30TH NOVEMBER 2020 • Act as scrum master on the agile develop of the Flood Risk Management and Environment & Business Asset Management IT system. • Provide in-depth knowledge and advice on both the current applications (being replaced) and the new AMX Solutions application. Understanding how our data and business processes and data will migrate and work in the new system. • Provide additional Asset Management knowledge around the inspection, maintenance and delivery of asset maintenance, including the allocation of funding. Skills & Experience • Must have prior knowledge of the Environments Agencies existing asset management systems, i.e AIMS: Inventory, AIMS: Planning and CMMS. • Must have a working knowledge of the functionality and configuration of the chosen asset management systems. COTS packaged supplied by AMX Solutions. • Must have working knowledge of the asset management processes within the Environment Agency. • Must be a certified Agile Scrum Master. Work Location Work Remotely from home. Travel required throughout england (Covid-19 dependant). Head Office and Supplier are based in Bristol. Working Arrangments 5 days a week - 37 hours a week. Is there a current incumbent? The roll is currently filled by an internal contracted resource that comes to an end on the 30th of November. 2. Would you like to specialist to start earlier than 30th November? As the post is already filled this roll cannot start before the 30th November. 3. What is the timescale for this process? The estimate plan is to short list 17th July.Hold telephone interviews by the 24th JulyAward contract around early August. 4. Is this role outside IR35? Our initial thinking is this roll would sit outside of IR35, this would be reviewed with the chosen supplier as part of forming the contract.
