Tender description
Funding is available to strengthen the suite of molecular equipment in the Crop Science department by purchasing a Droplet Digital PCR Instrument and sample reader with all associated equipment. This instrument will be used to screen for a number of Viral and fungal diseases in a range of arable crop in the Teagasc Crop Science department, Oak Park, Carlow. The research outcomes from the addition of this instrument to the laboratory will add considerable value to the Irish agri-food sector.
