Tender description
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Walsall Metropolitan Council urgently procured disposable nitrile gloves to help protect key workers to help prevent the spread of the virus. Walsall co-ordinated the purchase on behalf of Birmingham City Council, Dudley Council, Shropshire Council, Telford and Wrekin Council, Warwickshire County Council and Wolverhampton Council. In total, the Council procured 3 3030 000 disposable nitrile gloves on behalf of all seven Councils. These were broken down in to 3 370 pack of 100 small, 18 900 pack of 100 medium, 10 270 packs of 100 large and 490 packs of 100 XL.
