In 2019 EirGrid launched an ambitious strategy to transform the grid as we transition to a low carbon future based on renewable energy. To achieve our goals we need to make the most of existing assets on the grid, develop new infrastructure and use innovative technologies to minimise grid build. EirGrid therefore has a requirement to assess our internal capacity and capability to appropriately meet our future deliverables. A step change in our approach and a need to scale our internal capacity and capability is evident to ensure that we can deliver on our strategy. This tender is seeking services to complete a capabilities assessment, develop an action plan and deliver an online training and certification programme to assess and develop competencies and capabilities
