The Provision of a Framework Agreement for the Servicing, Maintenance and Provision of Fire Fighting Equipment

Tender description

The Isle of Wight Council invites Tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of a single supplier Framework Agreement for the Servicing, Maintenance and Provision of Fire Fighting Equipment. The framework agreement is required to provide the Authority and potentially all local (Isle of Wight) schools, parish councils and local charities with a safe and cost effective service for the inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers and fire blankets in all its buildings and establishments, and the supply of any such new and replacement equipment, as necessary. The aim of implementing a framework agreement is to achieve value for money for public funded authorities as well as local schools and charities. The Authority recognises that together we have greater buying power and this in return will achieve better value for money.
