The Arts Council has a major responsibility for developing the artform of opera in Ireland. We fulfil this responsibility by supporting the creative development of composers, librettists, key creative team members and performers and the public’s engagement with opera through a number of awards and grants to individuals and opera organisations. The Arts Council now wishes to appoint an Opera Adviser who will meet the needs of the organisation both from a quality and service delivery perspective. To assist the Council in the process of evaluating applications received from individuals and organisations for awards, schemes, grants and other funding opportunities offered by the Council, either independently or in conjunction with another body
