St Leger Homes are establishing a contract with suppliers of hand tools and power tools. The company requires specialist(s) in tools and dust management equipment on an outright purchase basis in order for trade operatives in service departments to undertake repairs and maintenance to tenanted and void properties. Products include hand power tools, hand tools, M Class dust management equipment and consumables. Power tools include, but not limited to, SDS drills, core drills, angle grinders, planers and jigsaws. The supplier(s) will provide a managed service, including the recording of warranties, asset tagging and establishing and managing an asset register. The successful supplier(s) will have suitable arrangements in place to maintain and repair tools both under and outside of warranty to the timescales in the specification. The contract will be awarded on the basis of lots and bidders can bid for 1, more than 1, or all of the lots. St Leger Homes reserves the right not to award any or all of the lots. The contract will be awarded based on the following lots. Lot 1: supply, servicing and repair of power tools (including mains operated Dust management equipment), hand tools and consumables; Lot 2: Supply, servicing and repair of rechargeable battery operated M class vacuum cleaners and associated accessories and consumables. Bidders are invited to bid for 1 or more lots. St Leger Homes are establishing a contract with a supplier of power tools and hand tools. The specialist will be required to supply accessories and consumables. The supplier will provide a managed service, including the recording of warranties, asset tagging and establishing and managing an asset register. The successful supplier will have suitable arrangements in place to maintain and repair tools both under and outside of warranty to the timescales in the specification. To comply with health and safety legislation, in particular COSHH 2012, the company has invested in dust extraction units to attach to power tools and will need a specialist to satisfy future requirements. Dust extraction units will be ‘M’ class. St Leger Homes have a requirement for accessories for existing and future M Class vacuum cleaners. This includes filters, dust bags and accessories and adaptors that connect power tools to the vacuum cleaners. The supplier will provide a managed service, including the recording of warranties, asset tagging and establishing and managing an asset register. The successful supplier will have suitable arrangements in place to maintain and repair vacuum cleaners both under and outside of warranty to the timescales in the specification.
