NHS Supply Chain are keen to engage with providers in this market to develop specifications for the cardiac diagnostics equipment, technologies and related equipment and services framework agreement, a replacement for electrocardiograph ECG equipment and related accessories which is due to expire August 2022. The requirement is for ECG machines that produce a graphic tracing of the variations in electrical activity produced to excite the heart muscle and detected at the body surface. The requirement if for portable devices for continuously monitoring various electrical activity of the cardiovascular system for at least 24 hours including software and services associated to the monitoring. The requirement is for portable devices to produce a recording of the variations in electrical activity produced to excite the heart muscle and detected at the body surface for a short period of time when activated by the user during an event. The requirement is for stress testing equipment that produces a graphic tracing of the variations in electrical activity produced to excite the heart muscle and detected at the body surface whilst the user's body is experiencing stress during exercise.
