Tender description

Department of Finance, Land and Property Services, is placing this voluntary transparency notice to alert economic operators of its intention to modify. The contract ‘ID 1839556 — DOF — LPS 3 3D Georeferenced Point Cloud’, in accordance with Regulation 72(1)(b) and (c) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. It is intended that this modification will increase the current contract value by GBP 70 111. This transparency notice does not place any obligation on the authority to enter into this modification. This contract is for a vehicle mounted mobile mapping system (MMS) that includes photographic and laser scanning/LiDAR remote sensing systems, and associated software, to create a core colourised georeferenced point cloud data set and hemispherical imagery for Northern Ireland. It must also provide software solutions to enable the MMS data to be combined with other point clouds generated from digital aerial photogrammetry and LiDAR and enable data collection from the resulting combined point cloud.
