Tender description
Tender for the supply of electricity to 67 electricity supply points that are the responsibility of Walterton & Elgin Community Homes Ltd (WECH). Please would you provide 'Fully fixed' and 'Site Specific' pricing, which has both a standing charge element and unit rate(s) element(s). We invite bids from you for electricity sourced from '100% renewable' sources ONLY (and provably so with the provision of Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin certificates for the supplies). The scoring method of bids is detailed in the attached ITT document. Start Date for NHH and UMS supplies: 1st Sept 2020. Start Date for HH supply: 1st March 2021. Contract Terms presently under consideration are: 12mths, 24mths, 36mths, 48mths and 60mths Billing Requirements: • Paper billing to be provided to a central address. • Accompanied by an electronic, spreadsheet copy of the data that makes up each month's invoices, which can be used by WECH to quickly process those invoices. The spreadsheet must be able to be easily understood by a person without any further processing and have 'Microsoft Excel' functionality. This spreadsheet to be emailed to nominated recipients. • PDF's (or similar) copies of invoices must be available. Account Management: You must provide a specific account manager(s), who will be the point of contact for billing and registration issues. They must be easily contactable by phone and email and provide a quick redress to any queries raised. You will be scored according to the degree to which you can satisfy the above (you may offer alternatives you believe to be comparable for consideration). Electricity supply licence: Suppliers of electricity shall comply with the requirements of the Electricity Act 1989 and any regulations made there under both as amended or re-enacted from time to time. Suppliers of electricity shall hold a Public Electricity Supply Licence granted under Section 6 (1) or (2) of the Electricity Act 1989. BIDS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM LICENCED SUPPLIERS OF ELECTRICITY. THE ATTACHED INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT) DOCUMENTS contain all details pertinent to the tender (including those stated above AND ADDITIONAL DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS).
