Expertise in Ornithology (Poulnasherry Bay - Shannon and Fergus Estuary SPA monitoring)

Tender description

The Marine Institute, a semi State body, wishes to invite tenders for the supply of Expertise in Ornithology Monitoring at Poulnasherry Bay within the Shannon and Fergus Estuary SPA for the period from September 15th, 2020 to 30th April, 2021. The Marine Institute is the national agency responsible for Marine Research, Technology Development and Innovation (RTDI). The Marine Institute seeks to assess and realise the economic potential of Ireland's 220 million acre marine resource; promote the sustainable development of marine industry through strategic funding programmes and essential scientific services; and safeguard our marine environment through research and environmental monitoring. Qualified service providers are invited to submit proposals to carry out monitoring of shorebirds (using low-tide survey methodology) as one lot, at one location: • Lot 1- Shannon Fergus Estuary SPA – Poulnasherry Bay only
