Cash In Transit (CIT) Services

Tender description

The service required is a Cash in Transit service from a Licenced (Private Security Authority) Cash in Transit provider to collect cash from the specific locations at the three operating Campus, some on a daily basis, some weekly and some monthly. DCU operates and manages a number of Commercial Companies that operate as separate entities in providing the following services: The Helix Events and Conference venue Trispace Catering Catering facilities over a number of locations over the 3 Campus Trispace Sports Gym and Sports Facilities DCU Language Services Provision of Language Services to Foreign Students Campus Properties Operators to two Londis Shops on Campus (1 Glasnevin, 1 St Pats) DCU Invent & Alpha Innovation hubs. To date each of these entities and other areas within Dublin City University have been using the onsite bank branch to lodge cash and cheques into their respective bank accounts. This branch has now closed and DCU requires a Cash in Transit (CIT) service and a number of secure Cash Machines with a Cash Management Application that facilitates lodgements by separate companies.
