Tender description

This project is for young people who live in Merton and are subject to statutory Youth Court Orders. A significant part of their orders includes reparation, whereby young people are able to make amends for their offence and give back to the community. The Recycle a Cycle project allows young people to learn how to maintain and repair bikes, which are provided by the Police or local charities. The repaired bikes are then available to victims of bike theft for collection. The young people learn new skills and have the opportunity to meet people who have been the victim of bicycle theft, thereby understanding the impact of this crime.
