The locality-based first tier welfare rights advice service provides first tier welfare rights information, advice and guidance in each of the 5 Sunderland localities on welfare benefits, debt and money advice, housing rights, employment rights, the challenge of Council tax and housing benefit decisions, including up to unified appeal tribunals and general housing need advice, that supports the prevention of homelessness.
