Tender description

This contract is for the supply of submersible pressure sensors to be used in water level measurement applications associated with surface water, groundwater and tidal water monitoring. There is no maintenance required. The sensors are required to provide standard industry signal outputs such as 2-wire 4-20 mA transmitters and/or digital signal interfacing such as SDI-12, RS232/RS485 using Modbus protocol. The outline performance specification asks for sensors that can achieve a combined accuracy of better than +/- 0.3 % of calibrated range. Analogue output sensors. This lot relates to 4-20 mA analogue output sensor types. Lot 2: Digital output sensors. This lot relates to SDI:12 and Modbus digital output sensors. Lot 3: Analogue output salt water sensors. This lot relates to 4-20 mA analogue output sensors to be used in corrosive environments, for example tidal monitoring. Lot 4: Digital output salt water sensors. This lot relates to SDI:12 and Modbus digital output sensors to be used in corrosive environments, for example tidal monitoring. Lot 5: Analogue output ceramic diaphragm sensors This lot relates to analogue output sensors with a robust ceramic diaphragm to be used where sensors require regular cleaning or surrounding water is susceptible to freezing during the Winter. Lot 6: Digital output ceramic diaphragm sensors This lot relates SDI:12 and Modbus digital output sensors with a robust ceramic diaphragm to be used where sensors require regular cleaning or surrounding water is susceptible to freezing during the Winter. Lot 7: Flash power sensors. This lot relates to ‘flash power’ sensors that give a stable reading after a very short power up time for use with certain outstation/logger types. These are 4-20 mA type sensors only.
