Supply of assessment kits and certain printed and audiovisual learning resources for the continuing professional development of teachers in the area of special education

Tender description

The National Council for Special Education (NCSE) was set up to improve the delivery of education services to persons with special educational needs arising from disabilities with particular emphasis on children. NCSE support services are delivered through our national network of Special Educational Needs Organisers (SENOs) who interact with parents and schools; a team of Advisors who provide Continuing Professional Development and in-school support to schools in the area of special educational needs; Visiting Teachers who provide support to the children and young people who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing or Blind/Visually Impaired, their families and teachers, and head office personnel. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for teachers is a component of the NCSE Support Service. The NCSE deliver a calendar of seminars throughout the school year in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Behaviour, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), as well as other areas of disability. The successful tenderer will be required to supply the NCSE with a range of assessment kits and printed and audio-visual learning resources required for the execution of our teacher CPD calendar of seminars.
