Tender description
The Chief Mechanical Engineers (CME) department of Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) has a requirement over the next three years, for the supply of 1472 Coupler Tear-off Bolts and 1472 Nuts for the 22000 Intercity Railcar (ICR) Fleet. IÉ are therefore seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced companies to participate in a pre-qualification process for the supply of Coupler Tear-off Bolts. All services required under the Contract will take place offsite i.e. items will be manufactured at the contractor’s premises and delivered to IÉ (Nominated person/location will be given prior to agreeing contract). Coupler Tear-off Bolts are considered a safety critical component of a bogie and as such, any successful supplier will be required to demonstrate compliance with IÉ standard CME-SMS-009.
